The Newcomb/Tulane task force will be holding an "open forum" on Jan. 27 from 2-4p.m. in Dixon Hall to discuss ways of preserving the Tulane and Newcomb College traditions.
There's as much anger about this desecration of the university as there is about the loss of the Engineering School. Savetulaneengineering people should be there to show support and work together with some liberal arts alums.
I wish I could be there.
The more allies y'all can get the better.

Many of those of us who are alums requested some sort of conference call option for this forum. Tulane has agreed, at least for a live web feed. For those of you who are interested, Tulane has informed me and other folks that: "Audio of the forum will be streamed live on the internet via the Task Force web page: http://renewal.tulane.edu/traditions_forum.shtml"
If you can't be there in person, at least be there via the web.
