|
|
I just got back on campus today and me and a roomate noticed that a few of our PS2 games and DVDs had discs swiped from the cases and a missing pocketwatch.
Has anyone else on campus noticed missing items? Is the university doing anything to rectify these missing items?
Thanks in advance,
James Terry

There is a 'lost and found' area supposedly behind Wall Residences, and if you tell someone at HRL they give you some form to fill out. Chances are if they were swiped out of a case though, they're gone for good. Some boxes and other items were put back in wrong rooms, so if you have random bedding or other items missing you will probably find them eventually.
I suspect that some of the Belfor workers' children had a really good Christmas this year.. |

Theft by the construction workers was a HUGE problem. Tulane also was heavily ripped off.
Tulane is expecting such a big problem from theft, damage, etc. they've hired an outside company to handle the claims. That way, when you get denied, Tulane can claim that they had nothing to do with the decision.
Last I heard, that company had an office set up in Dibbol. _________________ Clay Kirby

Yeah, found it today, which happened to be the last day they will be on campus. Looks like you download the PDF on the HRL site, fill it out and turn it in to HRL at Irby and about a week later an insurance adjuster should get ahold of you to handle your claim. They are covering damaged and missing items, so my mini fridge and games that are missing as well as my Coffee pot that decided it wanted to light its cord on fire can be covered. |

You are lucky. If you had stuff stolen during in the evacuation in 2004 you were told you could file with your homeowners insurance. |
