Notice that UNO is expanding its engineering programs: "'We are undertaking an effort to enhance some of our programs to make them prominent.'”

Back in the day Loyola had a pharmacy department/major. Loyola got rid of it and Xavier picked it up and is now extremly well known for its work in this area. Tulane giving up ENGR and UNO expanding it. Eventually, if UNO is successful in expanding their ENGR I think Tulane will face much competition for future students. Unfortunately, a University can not live on its good name forever.
